ETERNAL IN-SECURITY -A FALSE DOCTRINE
John 10:25-30
 One who does not believe in "eternal security" is doomed to live in "eternal insecurity."  What sin can a Christian commit that would cause God to forsake him?  And if a Christian could become lost on this earth, what is to say that he will not one day become lost in Heaven?    Eternal security is a Biblical truth, as evidenced in the following:

If a saved person could become lost:

I.    GOD WOULD DEFY HIS OWN PRECEPTS  (1 Pet. 1:23)

     1.   The Typology of the Word
          A.  His Children  (John 1:12  1John 3:1)
          B.  His Sheep  (Mat 18:12   John 10:2-4)
          C.  The Ark    (1 Pet. 3:18-20  Heb. 11:7)

      2.   The Theology of the Word
           A.  Our Salvation  -A Birth  (Jn 3:1-16)
           B.  Our Standing   -A Bride  (Eph. 5:21-26)
           C.  Our Security    -A Body   (I Cor. 12:12-14)

II.    GOD WOULD DENY HIS OWN POWER  (1 Tim. 1:12)

    1.   His Saving Plan   (Eph 2:8-9) 
           A.   Grace Delivered
           B.   Greatness Displayed

      2.   His Securing Power   (Rom. 8:35-39)
           A.   His Faithfulness
           B.   His Fatherhood

III.   GOD WOULD DESTROY HIS OWN PROMISES  (John 3:16 5:24)

       1.  Of  Life Unending
           A.    The Shepherd of the Sheep  (Mat 18:11-13)
           B.    The Sovereign of the Universe  (Jn. 10:28-30)

        2.   Of Love Undying
