Christmas Manuscript
The Incarnation of Christ
Christmas is big business and these stories bring huge audiences and much profit.  Of all the holidays, Christmas and Easter should be the most spiritual and religious.  However our culture has reduced them to cartoons, stereotypes, and profit machines.  The REAL Christmas story has gotten lost in the luster.  I would like for us to examine together the REAL story; and may we gain spiritual strength from it.

Material Suitable For Super Bowl Sunday
Manuscript: What Sports Fans Can Teach Christians
A Message For Super Bowl Sunday
...I believe Christians can learn a lot from sports "fanatics" of our day.  It is socially acceptable to be a sports "fan" and they are ready illustrations for us to study.  The average sports can can provide a window to us as we consider our faithfulness to Christ.  Paul was accused of the same mental conditions many committed Christians down through the ages have heard.  Festus was saying, "Paul, you are a fanatic!  You are excessive about this "Jesus."  Festus thought Paul's words were unreasonable and overzealous.

Manuscript: David & His Mighty Men   I Chronicles 12:8-15

Lessons learned from these verses about our walk with the Lord --using the Super Bowl as a backdrop and a contrast.  Added in the year 2000

Manuscripts Suitable for the New Year
Anticipating God In 2003   A Topical Message
Being able to foresee or anticipate events is one of the qualities that separates humans from the animals.  As we begin a new year, each of us anticipates dertian things in our lives, either positive or negative, depending on our personalities and our makeup.  While we may not be able to correctly anticipate the events of our lives in 2003, we CAN, through the Scripture, anticipate what God will do

Supper At Midnight  Revelation 3:14-22
As we examine the state of Christendom today, we see a genuine lack of fellowship of believers with their Savior.  The church is a place of communion with God; but the Laodicean church is too busy and too rich to be concerned with what they consider frivolous non-essentials.

Finding God In Times of Turmoil  Psalm 63
In Psalm 63, David  was still the king in God's sight, but he was not enjoying the benefits of his God-ordained position.  He was not conscious of the presence of God, which had meant so much to him in the past. Psalm 63 is a godly man's honest assessment of  spiritual lacking in his heart, and a cry to God to manifest His presence to him.

Revive Us Again   Ps. 85

Vision of the Reviving God   Isa. 6
Running God's Race   Heb. 12-1-2
Characteristics of a God-Centered Ministry  2 Tim. 4:1-8
